Customer service is the key to our business. Each employee regardless of where they may be trained must be aware of how valuable each customer is. When ever you may encounter a customer, either taking their order, taking the trays out to the customer, or even just passing by, they should be greeted with a smile. Customer service does not end when the order is taken, or when the food is presented, it continues long past the time they leave our establishments. Training on customer service will be on going through out your employment. It is the customer who pays our wages. They are not an interruption in our work, they are the reason for it. All other tasks should come after the customers are taken care of.
Your goal as an employee should be that every customer:
- Is glad they came in
- Wants to come back
- Tells others about their experience in a positive way
We want you to use positive words and phrases as you speak to customers.
Phrases to use when speaking with customers:
- Thank You
- Excuse Me
- I'll find out
- Just one minute please
- Would you like....?
- I don't know
- Do you want....?
- Can I help you?
- Can I get anything else for you?
